Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Education or related field of study with three (3) years of experience.
  • Training and course work related to positive behavioral supports, learning and behavioral therapy, child development and range of comprehensive interventions for children with autism.
  • Experience working with children 2-5 years of age.
  • Experience in designing and implementing behaviorally based therapies for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. (ASD)
  • Experience using data-based decision-making including data collection, evaluation and analysis.
  • Ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail and organization, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks prior to deadlines.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and as a member of a team with parents, staff, and the community-at-large.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook for e-mail.
  • Flexible hours are necessary.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work in collaboration with Cornerstone Team to deliver tailored program sessions for individual and/or small groups of children.
  • Support families in delivery of services, implementation and understanding of IEP’s.
  • Develop and implement individualized services plans.
  • Collection, recording and analysis of data.
  • Provide necessary training, to Square One staff, to support children in the classroom.
  • Coordinate services with outside therapists.
  • Monitor individual child progress and collaborate with outside therapists and Square One Staff.
  • Communicate verbally and in written form with Square One staff and family members to ensure coordinated and consistent service delivery.
  • Support integration of individuals in classroom settings as well as program and family activities.
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, family meetings and professional development opportunities.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Needs to perform essential duties. Must have sufficient mobility to meet the needs of children.

 

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
