Resiliency in Action, the Springfield Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems team, attended the National Institute for Children’s Health Quality (NICHQ) Learning Session last week. In addition to having members of Square One’s core team attend, we had three parents (and an infant) attend who spoke to the great family engagement work happening at Square One and their experiences of raising young children in Springfield.
The work of our team and parents was further highlighted in the afternoon plenary given by our own Jenise Katalina and Eve Wilder of the Department of Public Health. The session focused on utilizing a Racial Equity lens in Springfield when supporting young children’s health and development.
